Emerging Redwood mare Latrelle continued her progression with another successful visit to Trentham.
The patiently handled five-year-old was a dominant winner in Rating 75 company over 1600 metres on Sunday to remain unbeaten in two appearances on the capital city course.
Trained by Cody Cole, Latrelle advanced her record to three wins and five placings from 13 appearances and looks more than capable of making her mark in stakes company.
In the familiar blue and white crossed sashes of breeder Gerry Harvey, she had finished in the money in her two previous starts before taking care of business at the weekend.
“She always improves with the more racing she has,” Cole said.
Latrelle settled midfield off the fence before rider Michael McNab urged her forward around runners across the top and she proved superior in the run home.
She is a daughter of the Mossman mare Fille De France, who has a 100 percent record at stud with all five foals to race successful.
The dam is out of a half-sister to the G1 Australian Oaks winner Royal Descent, also a multiple placegetter at the elite level, and to the mother of the Listed winner Solidify.
Fille De France produced a sister and brother to Latrelle in the last two seasons and is back in foal to Redwood.
