Tarzino 4YO Stars on Mornington Stage

Well-related four-year-old Immediacy looks set for a lucrative preparation following a decisive victory at Mornington on Saturday.

The stakes winning son of Westbury Stud resident Tarzino was quickly stepped up to 2000 metres by trainers Trent Busuttin and Natalie Young and the four-year-old delivered in style.

“We were very confident, he was good first-up at Flemington and had improved,” stable representative Daren Saunders said.

“Trent and Natalie are in Bali, so they’ll work out where he goes next when they get back.”

Immediacy travelled comfortably one out and one back before he picked up ground three wide 600 metres from home and strode clear in the run home to score by a length and a-half.

“I wanted to be one off the fence and when I pulled out, he went through his gears and was strong to the line,” successful jockey Michael Dee said.

Immediacy has now won four of his 10 starts including victory in last season’s G2 Autumn Classic at Caulfield.

Bred by Cambridge Stud, he is a half-brother to dual stakes winner Bella Waters with their dam the Pivotal mare But Beautiful, who was a three-time winner in England up to 1600 metres and is a half-sister to the stakes winners Ayrad and Dawn Of Hope.

Immediacy was originally purchased as a yearling from the draft of Kiltannon Stables at Karaka for $15,000 by Game Lodge.

He was then secured by Busuttin and Group 1 Racing for $200,000 when offered by Riverrrock Farm at the Ready to Run Sale.
