THE CONTRACT

Before your mare arrives at Westbury Stud for service it is very important to have your contract signed and returned to the stud office. This is to ensure the best possible care and safety of your mare while she is visiting us.

After choosing the right stallion click our MAKE A BOOKING button in the menu above and complete as much information as possible, if you don’t know all of the answers right away you can still make a booking, just press send and our booking team will contact you before your mare arrives.

If you would prefer to make a booking in person we welcome breeders to contact us by phoning our Stud Office 09 292 7070 or by emailing the team.

ARRIVING FOR SERVICE

From the 1st of September, the breeding barn is open and with the booking complete and the contract signed and returned to the Westbury office your mare will be ready to visit the stallion.

Westbury’s stallions are located at our Auckland farm, to check availability and book your mare in please get in touch with our Stallion Manager Anesh Kanji.

Westbury has limited capacity to prepare mares for service as well as foaling down, which takes place at our Matamata farm, however, should you require either service we partner with outside farms which we have trusted partnerships.

POST SERVICE

Following your mare being covered by a Westbury stallion the managing owner will receive an email confirming your mare has been served by the stallion including the covering date or Last Date of Service (LSD).
